What do you think?
3- I just don't care enough for the whole notion of Iron Patriot to begin with, but there's really nothing about this design that impresses me. I like the war machine variant even less, the black is just so muted the whole thing might as well be a single shade of gray.
3 - Iron Patriot seemed like an armor Tony Stark would make for Steve Rogers or himself after Captain America's image in a team like Freedom Force. I didn't get the whole Norman Osbourne wearing it for his Dark Avengers but I did like how they used it as a government version of Iron Man in Iron Man 3. I didn't see it as something permanent and obviously James is back wearing a version of War Machine in Avengers 2.

3. I think, along with the rest of the list of turn-offs here, the one that bugs me the most, is the chest area...Is it a circle, is it a star? It just doesn't look right.

Ya its weird. Norman had a clear star on the chest in comics. Spider-man even commented how the design made chest beam less powerful. As for the design...eh. Rhodey is better suited for this than Norman but I prefer the comic colors.
