Today we begin a new Costume Rating set from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We'll start things off with the biggest star Iron Man. So here's the Mark I from the first Iron Man movie:

I love the heck out of this thing.  I love how they managed to translate the original design into something that works in the real world and is still recognizable as to its origins.  And even though it's a little refined to have been cobbled together in secret, the asymmetry does help.

5. I can't help but to agree with Glitch on this. While I think it could have (Should have) been made to look more scrapped considering it's origins, it does look really cool, and like Glitch said, it's still recognizable to it's origins.

I gave it a 3. I never been a fan of the original Iron Man armors but they did a great job adapting it to the film.
