Sleek and simple. Fantastic design that still looks good today.

5: Yep, it's a great design, and it's basically the same thing as the original.  It's a perfect costume, one of the iconic JLA looks that I've mentioned before.

If I recall correctly this was an updated design for the CBS Flash series, and then updated in the comics for Wally. Probably the only time I liked a costume change brought about by a movie or TV show. (I'm looking at you 616 Hawkeye)

I still find the Flash costume to be on the bland side but the Wally version improves in pretty much every way. Deeper colour, more dynamic belt, removed the silly boot wings.

Timeless. Simple, but not too simple. 4.

Sacrilege!  :P

I see it as just the nature of the character... the bootwings were continuing the homage to the greek god mercury, but neither Barry nor Wally ever expressed any interest in Greek mythology beyond dealing with Wonder Woman. Now, that homage KIND OF made sense with Barry being a fan of the original Flash (who patterned much of his look after the greek god) but Wally having the boot wings would not have made any sense for his character.

I like the boot wings. Although, since they basically changed the earwings to lightning bolts, I suppose it does make sense to do away they them.
