While it has the same basic design as the regular look, this is your chance to say how you think hurt or help the design.
3- meh. The n52 look isn't "bad" but the yellow lightning streaks make it look a bit too busy for my taste. Really, it depends entirely on the artist... some keep the designs understated and it looks great, others amp up the detail and it just looks too complicated.
*"5 I MEAN 5", I actually like it when artists like Buccellato and Manapul stretch out the design as beautifully as possible, I often find Booth's rendition of it quite... well, a bit too boring. You just don't see the energy and vibe of the costume with him.

While I don't necessarily dislike this version, I can't say that I really like it either. The protruding chest emblem is a nice touch, but the overabundance of details counters that. There's just too much going on here.
Barry always seemed like a simple guy, this just doesn't look like Barry.

In the original thread (http://freedomreborn.net/forums/index.php?topic=56425.0) when we did the classic costume I gave it a mild 3, so I'll stick with that. I came down kinda hard on the Flash costume, but I'm mellower these days and when drawn well it's a solid superhero costume. When drawn poorly it can look kinda bland.
This one in particular ranges from "pretty much the same" (Manapul) to "overcomplicated" (Lee) depending on the artist. It all depends on how much much emphasis they put on the lines. Manpul does a good job keeping them subdued, but other artists like Lee make it too busy looking.
3: It's strengths come from the fact that it's basically just the classic Flash costume, it's weaknesses come from being way too overly complicated. As others have said, some artists can do a better job than others, but this is just an unnecessary complication of a perfect costume.
