Did these in the weee hours. I was inspired.

p.S. Could someone skin Lilandra. Thank you in advance. :) :) :)
Great work on these!
Don't worry about Lilandra, I got you.
Thanks LP.

Man Gren, with these last few releases, you have really outdone yourself. The animations on these are just fantastic. The "Bride", is especially nice, her movements are extremely fluid.
Thanks, SlickAlice had a skope and skin of the Bride. It fired me up to come up with something different. I was going for the creepy effect and so my first thought was the movie "The Ring". After that, it was just a matter of following the flow.
I finally figured out what was causing the jittery effects in the animation that I wasn't noticing in max. It's a time consuming fix and it doesn't always get rid of them all, but in this case it came out smoother.
Glad you like it.
:) :) :)
Sweet more meshes!
I'm really not familiar with The Bride of the Nine Spiders, she's one of the Immortal Weapons isn't she? Still very cool mesh and those animations for the spikes are impressive.
Bride is simply brilliant!
I am SO pleased with those I can't find an adjective to describe it. You remain the master as ever.
  Bride of 9 spiders is really awesome.

Yiiiiikes ... that is so good :o
Great Job LP. :) :) :)
I like the line work.
Gren is good to see you back in action. We haven't met in the forums, you can call me Jim. How is your health?
That is fantastic LP. Your line work is very clean, and your faces have a nice unique look to them. Excellent work my friend.

Nice to meet you.
Health is way better than it was compared to last year. Thanks for asking.
Jus finished another mesh. I'll let LP unveil it once he's done skinning it. I just emailed it him.
:) :) :)

Tease. :P
Lilandra Mesh now has LP's Skin with the mesh size corrected.
Bride of 9 Spiders also has size corrected.
My first attempt at skoping. (Yes it's my first. I got too lazy to do it in MAX.)

So good to hear it. I chekced your new meshes, they are neat. Great job both to you and LP.
Two great releases and I'm especially excited about the bride! :)
Thanks for the great new goodies, Gren. Especially glad to red that your health is better.
Cheers,
Is Bride of Nine Spiders for FF or FFvTTR? I'm asking because when I try to view the mesh using Character Tool 2, it crashes

Knowing Gren, it's probably for :ff: , but you could just convert it to :ffvstr: using the "EZNifConvert" tool. :)
Yeah, I had to convert mine in order to use it in FFvt3R, so I'm pretty sure the Standard mesh is for FF1.

I tried that. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
Yeah I see a lot of errors. I think I'll stick to meshing until I get better with skoping.
Is the bride the only mesh with a problem or does Lilandra have issues too?

Did you get any kind of error message when you tried to convert the mesh? Generally, EZNif Convert will give an error message when the conversion fails. I don't recall ever seeing a case where the conversion was successful, but the mesh still crashed CTool2.
Gren, for what it's worth, I was able to convert both the old version and the new, resized version and even tried converting the mesh without the keyframes and everything still worked fine in CTool2.
Thanks Hoss20,
I went back and did it the hard way. I re-physiqued the mesh to the correct size. Tweaked the existing animations. Checked the mesh to see if it properly converted to FFVTR. Works fine. The latest version is up on the yahoo site now.

My skoping skills still need work, but that's something I'll leave alone for a bit.
Anyone have any tutorials on how to make a map.
I've an idea for a map but I want to make it myself, I just don't know how as of yet.

If you want to PM me an E-Mail address, I've got a few files I would be glad to send you. I haven't gone through them, so I don't know how detailed/accurate they are (And there may be duplicate files, just with different names), but like I said, I would be glad to send you anything I have.
I had the same problem. I thought it had something to do with Windows 7 and that whole "permission" issue. same with the absorbing man and some other meshes I recently downloaded from LP's website.

I don't recall LP having Absorbing man on his site, but nevertheless, I just ran nifconvert and tested my absorbing men and they converted fine. did you convert both the character and keyframes ?
I noticed some meshes I had to convert both and some just the character.nif. As to why, I don't have that answer.
Note to Everyone : I make all my meshes for FF1, if you want use it for FFVTR, just use Nifconvert. I do it so I have the best of both.
AM was from your Yahoo Group. A poorly written sentence, sorry. I'll move the mesh to another drive and see if I can convert it.

This mesh is a thing of beauty. The animations feel like they were ripped out of the comic book.
Oooooooh!
I gotta say, I absolutely love that cape.
wow :o That's awesome. Can't wait to try it!
That's almost done. I have a few things to activate on the mesh like glow and reflection as well as hexing it down to the correct size.
Once I finish with the mesh I'm working on now, I'll get back to that shortly.
Classic Storm Now available.

Storm is now available at the above link. After so many years, I finally finished her.
Her cape could always be better, but it will do for now.

Wow, that classic Storm is amazing! Love the animations.

Awesome news, Gren!
Can't wait to check these out!
EDIT: Hmmm, I can't seem to find "Blue Eagle"
EDIT 2: I just checked out the new characters, and I am absolutely LOVING the new winged character animations! They are so beautiful!
Those new meshes look fantastic!! Hawkgirl is perfect.

Me too
The Crusaders were my next project. Was trying to figure out how to skope Nasland's collar. Now I don't have to. :)
Thanks for some more wonderful toys Gren. These are just beautiful. I especially like Hawkgirl and Tommy Lightning.
QuoteHmmm, I can't seem to find "Blue Eagle"
I just uploaded the Blue Eagle.
QuoteThese are just beautiful. I especially like Hawkgirl and Tommy Lightning.
I didn't think Hawkgirl would turn out as good as it did.
My first thought on Tommy Lightning was that he was going to look weird, but he turned out better than I thought.
Thanks everyone, I'm glad you liked them.
I was taking a break from Blacklash and decided to work on some old ideas I wanted to try out.
I was working on making a better set of wings in terms of motion.
I start with one and next thing you know a slew of them came out from the base.
I got one more crusader to go before I get back to some more liberty legion members.
- Anyway stay tuned there's more coming.
Not familiar with the Crusaders but nice job on these winged meshes. Blue Eagle and especially Hawkgirl really stand out!
Thanks Gren!
Hey, I've just been trying to scope a Hawkgirl Gren and come to the conclusion that I'd have to wait for him to do a mesh.
As I said before, sometimes life is good...
New Squadron Supreme Mesh, new Liberty Legion Mesh, new X-Men Mesh, and a bunch of Crusaders??? I agree with Daglob, life is good!
Thank you Gren!
All aboard the praise train! whoo-whoo!
These guys are amazing Gren, and your latest winged and caped meshes are so fluid in their animations, it's hard to imagine how long it's must've taken to animate.
Also, you just said a Blacklash is in the works? Nice!

Just downloaded Blue Eagle, and I have to say that I couldn't agree with Pod any more!
Well now i have to re-adjust my blue eagle hero file with your mesh because it's just too good! Are you happy gren for makiing go all this trouble :P :P??? Stop makiing good meshes!!!!!
What a great release! I love them all, but Hawkgirl is my favorite! (I've been hoping for a Hawkgirl mesh by you and I'm so glad to see it!)
The Crusaders look awesome and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the Liberty Legion!
Blue Eagle is phenomenal, too! Thanks for these, Gren.
Ohh my gosh, I've been missing amazing stuff! Gren, it is incredibly awesome to see you in business again, and these are all really fabulous! I LOVE that Hawkgirl! I think I may need a classic skin of her for the DCUG!
Holy Hannah, these guys' animations are beautiful! I just can't get enough of them!
Also, darn you Gren/LP, that Classic Storm is so incredibly cool that I've totally got to change my Marvel Adventures mod now! :P
What a fantastic set of releases! :D
Ohh, also, I would LOVE to see you do a Blacklash, Gren! That's one I'll happily adjust my MA mod for as well!
Just came across the Crusaders and the Angel mesh. Very nice job as always.
