Honestly it reminded me of Dredd, the 'reboot' of judge dredd that was super hardcore and entertaining but failed. Hopefully this wont fail, but it seems to have the same reckless disregard for reaching a wide audience and is purely focused on meeting expectations of it being hardcore, and having a really stylized world.
In other words I'm thrilled.
