For about the last week or so, I have been getting an insane amount of SPAM in my E-Mail, I've already cranked the filters to the max, but that only stopped a fraction of what I was getting. Since I cleared my Spam folder on Saturday night, I have received 73 new pieces of junk mail. The bad part is, it really is worse than junk mail, as I have been getting some really inappropriate stuff.
All that said, I would like to apologize for 2 reasons, the first, if you have sent me an E-Mail, and I have not responded, then I did not receive it, please contact me here until I decide what to do about this. Secondly, if someone has received junk mail from me, please let me know, that's not something that should be happening, it just isn't right, in which case I will start removing people from my Address Book to try and prevent this from continuing further.
Again, I apologize to anyone who sent me something that did not get a response, and I apologize to anyone who received junk mail from me.
I hate spam.
The only spam that I like is spam that comes in a can, but even then...

There's only one spam that I like; the full Monty!
"
SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM...."
I have to say that this really bites, but like I said, if you have sent me an E-Mail, and I haven't responded, please send me a PM. Also, as far as I know, no one has received any Spam from my E-Mail account, so I don't think I've been hacked, but if you are getting Spam from, please let me know. Thanks.
FWIW, getting extra spam in your email is not typically a sign that your system is infected. It may be a sign that some of your contacts' computers are infected and are being used to send spam to people in their contact lists (including you).
Honestly, considering the variety and amount of Spam that I'm getting, I'm thinking that maybe someone sold my E-Mail address to anyone that would pay. Things I'm receiving aren't actually being addressed to me, just to my E-Mail address.
