Hey All,
I was wondering if anybody had fixed the ghosting issue on some meshes they would like to share?
For example the AIM or HYDRA agents, or maybe Skrull, Kree or Hellfire Club Pawns.....

Here's what I use to fix all of my ghosting issues: http://frp.unlimited2.net/ghosting-mesh-tutorial/
It takes a little bit of work to set up, but it's an extremely useful tool to have on hand.
I hate to admit it, but I have yet to figure this out. :banghead:
If it helps, I use Python27 rather than Python25 (aka Python 2.5) that the tutorial says to use and it works just fine for me.
Also, be sure to follow the installation of the programs in this order:
1. Python27
2. Python Win for Python27
3. pyFFI
4. ffvt3rskinpartition
Thinking of a better (say, "EZ"-ier) way to do this.
Somebody (Flash_22798?) did a bunch of minions for different villains. I also did some vari-colored generic minions. They are for FF1, but should convert.
I don't know about the ghosting issue; I've never had that problem (just the alpha channel snafu).

It only appears in :ffvstr: with converted characters. Sometimes, when two or more of the same mesh is on the screen at once, a ghost-like aura will form around the character and mimic the movements of the mesh that appeared first, giving an odd, two-person character running around, doing different things.
I've recently been able to back into the game, finding some workaround a to get things to work nicely in Windows 8.
Unfortunately I still can't get the nif convertor to work though. So I have my reservations with trying out some python scripting too.
I guess I'll have to give it a shot.
Alex, an EZ solution would be astounding! Your resurgence was one of the reasons why I tried to get the game working in windows 8 again.

I second and third this idea. Gotta be an easier way to solve this problem.

I've mentioned it to Lightning Man, creator of EZNIF. I will get him a little more info/files and I think he can whip it up.
That sounds great Alex.

That would be extremely awesome!
A new version of the EZ Converter would be good. However, my brother fixed me up with a virtual machine version of Windows 7, which I have to launch if I want to convert meshes. Dunno where he got it (he's like, a computer diety or something).
