Today we'll start the set of costume ratings. We'll be looking at the symbiote characters from Marvel comics starting with the man who started it all: Spider-Man!

Fun fact: I read somewhere that the black suit costume was originally designed and set in by a fan.
Spidey's Black Suit pretty much was the first costume change that really worked for Spider-Man. As much as I loved the classic Red And Blue Webbed Suit, "Stealth Spidey" (what I called his Black Suit look) just looked so much cooler going after bad guys from the shadows. :)

Love this suit! Such a simple and effective design. Interesting how later down the road, whenever he is in a dark place (aunt May being shot etc) he puts on a cloth version of this suit. Def my favorite of Spidey's alternate outfits.
4. I like it, it's simple, it's clean, and it works well... it's just not quiiite as good as the classic
It took me a while to adjust to the change, but after a while, this costume really grew on me. I went with a 4 on this one.
4: I'm with pretty much everyone else here. This is a great costume, a really cool alternate, and a neat design. The only real reason it gets a 4 in my book is because the classic Spidey-costume is one of the all-time greats, and this just isn't quite as good.
I gave this a 5. I really think this costume is pretty much perfect, even better (though not more appropriate) than Spidey's classic duds. It's also a rare classic costume that looks completely modern without any changes. Just a perfect design.
I dunno, changing Spidey's costume is like, say, putting Superman in armor or pants on Wonder Woman...

It's like Venom, with out the awesome monstrous vibe. Still, it's sleek and minimal which is something I love. 4
I actually had the Secret Wars version of this toy when I was younger.... I instantly fell in love with this outfit, and Wolverine's brown and tan one too.
