Anyone got an idea for an Ed McGuiness style Bamf mesh?

Couldn't you just resize a nightcrawler mesh with nifskope and skin an all body?
I've tried that, but the proportions don't end up as "cuddly" as I'd like.
Also looking for some more neutral keyframes for them.
Really cant seem to get the mesh right, just looks like tiny super fast nightcrawlers.
Wish I could help but I'll be eyeballing the process that goes on here. I've re-sized meshes size ways to Sunday myself trying to get the " little cutey " cartoon/plush toy look down as well and the meshes always struggle and look sort of chunky instead. Knowing that though I would think you could start with say something like male_dwarf, or 7-up spot, some short mesh with stubby arms and legs and weight a model from another game (modelsinc is stocked with little cartoons like this) to that assignment. Someone else probably would have a better idea how this needs to go down than me, especially since that thing his digits which tend to trip me up. The Dexstarr I did is an example of the closest to a little cute body I could get it.
