Title: Cyber's FF/FFvt3R Questions
Post by: Cyber Burn on April 01, 2014, 02:16:06 PM
I've never actually uploaded anything to MediaFire before, but I want to send some large files to someone, and E-Mail isn't really the best choice.

Do I need to register for an account or anything? Is it a free-bee type deal?

If anyone has dumbed down instructions, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

I don't think that you have to have an account, but I do know that accounts are free and files will stay for a long time, if not until you delete them.

I just registered. Never had to pay for it and nothings changed that I'm aware of. Pretty much get an account, then Mediafire has an uploader button that does all the work for you.

I seem to be having issues with Mediafire. When I load it up, none of my Folders/Files are there, and I can't seem to upload anything new. So just out of curiosity, is anyone else having issues with Mediafire, or is it just on my end?

Never mind, whatever glitch I was having seemed to sort itself out. Thank you anyway.  :D

Rather than start a new Thread, I figured that I would just recycle an old one so I would have a place to put all of my dumb Questions.

Question #1.) Alex's "EZHero" Tool has the ability to send the information from a Hero File to a Text File, and this can really be helpful, so my Question is: Is it possible to send the information from a DAT File to a Text File?

Basically, I want to be able to create a Text File from the FX DAT File that looks similar to this:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Super_Cool_FX_Example

Nif Base: library\fx\generic\Super_Cool_FX_Example

Attack Type: Ranged

Attack Sub Type: Projectile

Node Attachment Points:

Start: Bip01 R Hand

Launch: Leave Blank

Core: Bip01 R Hand

End: Weapon

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Does anyone know if this would be possible?
