Some meshes by Valandar:

- Still needing Transformers by Valandar, versions 2's. I could eventually download the mod but I'd want to know first if it contains the V2 ones.
- The " kittycat " hex of Valandars Bigcatversatile.

Some Texas Jack meshes that I'm not sure if they exist or I'm just fantasizing it:

- Random (based on the X-Men character)
- The Engineer (based on the character from Wildstorm's The Authority, currently DC Comics Stormwatch)
- male heavy symbiote (I thought in addition to Venom by TJ there was this one which had similar animations to the male basic and female basic symbiote meshes but correct me if I'm wrong here?)

Not to be confused with GL Hal, nor Hal Gl, I had this one sent to me a few times now by other users in hexed/skoped form. What stands out on this one against other GL meshes is there's a big green hand attached to the mesh used in the throw animations. The way the aura is set up is unique from other GL's in how it's skin is assigned and that it can be used to create multiple different auras on alpha channels. I wouldn't request it given the skopes I already received, but those have been altered to a state that they became unusable for building future projects so I need the original. I checked both Ren's groups and the backup groups but this one doesn't seem to be there.

Major thanks for the hookups. Most of these have pretty specific animations that I'd like to explore.
If Engineer is as I think it is it would make a good base for Danger from X-Men (I'm really timid about meshing that though).
For kittcat I probably can try and shrink the regular sized one myself but that one was so pur-fect. I've wanted to give Dex-Starr a more catlike redo for awhile now.
The Bumblebee V2 keyframes, and for anyone who needs to know, can be used with FX to view them in CTool. I'm not sure what the specifics on why that works I just know it does.
Male heavy symbiote if it exists (?) would be a good base for that Deaths Head II request sitting on the forums I think?

Unfortunately, after searching through everything I have, I don't seem to have any of your other requests. But, would the "Hobbes" Mesh that RandomDays imported into FF be a viable option for Dex-Starr?

I'll have to look but if it's "shaped like Hobbes " then no but thanks. Dex-Starr is definitely house cat shaped and I wanted to do one that doesn't resemble a cartoon character like the last one I made (though reluctantly as that body has many other uses and was tedious). I'll keep searching or when I get down to doing it, which won't be for awhile anyways, I'll just modify the cat myself or bring in a whole new cat model.

I'll probably work with BC. Little bit...ugh, I'm pretty sure I have to directly change the values in the Bone Nodes (at least this is the method I know of) as just shaping the mesh to those extremities in Blender will result badly when it animates. I'm hoping to avoid that process like I said if anything because it takes a long time and I have a massive que of meshes going right now. Greens are up right now for me so like I said I guess I won't worry about it though. I am a bit nonplussed that I can't find it at all though. Maybe it was posted on the old NPI forums originally and that's why it's not coming up in any search engines (literally called " kittycat BigCatVersatile hex ", should have been a real narrow search)?

I suppose while I have the line open does anyone know of any female meshes that use rifles? Or a comparable gun as long as it's something they hold with two hands and aim rather than in one hand. I would want something without ropeswinging animations. Thanks.

I can't think of any female Meshes that fit your requirements off the top of my head, but you could drop the "Crymson" Mesh by Lord Ehmsidy onto the "Crossfire_Gren" Mesh by Grenadier. That should fit what you need.

female basic rifle would be great, thank you. If its a fb based mesh that means it should be compatible with female surfer keys which is needed as I'm going to use it to make Cloud 9 from Avengers The Initiative.

I also found an x-com mesh of a female with a rifle, but it only had one firing animation.  Looks like it used female_basic as it's base though.

This may be another thing I'm imagining but I could swear someone put together a mesh that had a male_basic body but had Ink's Phoenix and it's animations joined together with it (new phoenix, phoenix classic, ect.).

Also looking for HarleyRider and Cy-Kill (the GoBot) by Valandar if anyone has them. Thanks.

Nvmnd the Phoenix. I figured it out. Or better RD taught me and I got lucky and it went off without a single hitch. I just made a male basic that's conformed to Ink's female meshes. Problem solved.

Looking for either:
- a left handed Alan Scott
- a left handed Green Lantern
- left handed Green Lantern keyframes

New 52 Alan is part of my next wave release. If the option doesn't exist I'll just release him right handed, though I'd like it to match the aesthetic of the comic if I can. I need it to be the traditional Freedom Force GL whereas the ranged moves have a closed fist to indicate the ring is being used and it makes use of aura's.

Thanks but I'm good. I used Tom's Alan, just finished everything a couple of minutes ago. I really wanted the aura but figured out that it's really simple to add an aura to pretty much anything with just a few keyframe adjustments.

Looking for some odd stuff though not pressing:

1.) Did anything ever come of the sea horse project? I've had a bad itch since I first played the game to make Sea Urchin riding her buddy like in the game picture.

2.) a rolling ball or anything along those lines. I know there's a few characters that turn into jimmies,  but the most I ran into where ones that spin around on their equator. I'm looking for something that spins back to front like a tire though. Or how to hex this into keys (still weak in the rotation area)? Mostly I want it for characters that can shapeshift into jimmies (Sonic, Samus).

Another option may be an animated texture. As long as you have the ball shape, it's going to be a separate mesh from the base. That way, you can apply the animated texture to the ball without affecting the texture for the base mesh. You can set the type of movement the animated texture makes. I can help you out with this, if you think it may work, although it's been a while since I did anything like this.

Ah hoss you got my back. I can get it then, I'm real swift at making animated textures. Have you ever tried using an animated texture to make actual movement before? If not I should teach you that trick. If you look at the Overdrive (Spider-man) I did the blades on his helicopter move but there's no info for them in the keyframes. The short of it was I set up the animated texture string. Then I made separate meshes for each blade position, each of those having a different position on the texture. Then got it to move by cycling the alpha channel on and off one at a time for each mesh so only one was visible at a time.

I had used an animated texture for my Tempest skope. She's one of Marvel's Exemplars. She is of gaseous form, essentially a human shaped cloud. So, I wanted to give her the appearance of being flowing clouds, so made her body skin flow horizontally, on top of adding cloud FX around her. It's been so long (yeesh, 4 years!), that I was going to have to dig up my notes to help you out, if necessary. So, yes, I did use the technique for movement and not just to flash a change of color or image.

That's an interesting idea for animating the helicopter blades. I imagine most of us think of creating the blade art file in different positions, but your idea to use multiple mesh pieces for the same object, but change the alpha is very novel. I'll have to try that out. Of course, now I have to go download that mesh to check things out.  ;)

- NPI Weapon Pack. More specifically I'm looking for the installation instructions that came with that as I liked the set-up.

This request is more for feedback than an actual file.

1.) Did anyone ever make a bunny? Like a normal rabbit? I'm considering making one for my level and then releasing it publicly but I wanted to see if anything was already out there first.

2.) This is going make sound like a humongous moron but I know a few checked out my old TMNT pack for  :ff: from the old site. I'm working with the same mesh that I used for Donatello and I have no clue what the origin mesh even was. The animations look like something Gren would do? I see the staff was originally a trident if that helps, it also had a spear tip piece. It's been awhile and I can't remember and didn't think to include a read me because you know, hindsight.

1. I do have a Rabbit Mesh that may be an import by RandomDays, I don't remember where I got it, but if you want, I'd be glad to send it to you. I "Think" it may be for FF though, instead of FFvt3R.


2. Looking at the Donatello Mesh in NifSkope, it looks like it was based on Gren's "Male_Basic_Staff" Mesh. Comparing the 2 in NifSkope, I'm pretty sure of it.

I'm not looking for a file this time rather information if anyone has it. This regards Deadpool_muscular_updated. I have multiple read me's for it citing different authors. I'm trying to find out whom did the mesh (the Bipeds really, I won't be using the geometry), and have either Gren or Shevek credited there depending on the read me. The animations same, either Shevek or Gren, I'm presuming the latter since they look like his work. I need the info to give proper credit in my release, thanks anyone for the help.

Regarding the base mesh, I don't think there's anything there that isn't from Gren's Cable mesh. Also, as mentioned in the Read Me, other than most animations from Irrational meshes, it looks like added animations come from Grenadier's Cable and Desak mesh animations.

I'm sorry if I'm just reiterating what you already have, but it looks pretty clear for the core mesh (and belt) and added animations that Grenadier is the one to credit.

I'm sure Val is the go to but I'm unclear on his permissions with those. I plan to remove all the geometry and replace it with my own for Leopardon at any rate.

Vague but if anyone wants to take a crack at New York 2099 as well as any Secret Wars 2015 territories that looks interesting for FFVTTR I'll be all over that stuff. I can lend propwork if needed. Thanks.

while i checked some of these in the character tool, i haven't looked at them in the game yet, so i don't know how big any of these are, and you might find a few of the features you want (sword, shield), i don't know about transforming or fist shooting.

Thanks. I know where to find Vals meshes though, I was asking which one might fit as well which was permissive? Short of the original screenshots that used to be on NPI I never actually downloaded nor looked at any of his mechs in game as I just didn't have a need for them. So I'm asking anyone that's toyed with them if they have an opinion on which would be the most comparable and/or the best base for Leopardon. For size mostly the animations need to be something a huge guy would use (punching down at the ground and so forth). I can always adjust the Handle if need be for scale. Also if anyone knows if the Invid mesh is allowed for use. I'd like to remake that into a Phase 2 Onslaught. Thanks again.

gotchya, I must have misread things somewhere along the way. for  permissions, the only valandar meshes not usable for skoping, are: Voltron, Vighna Ghina, and GP-01 Gundam. that's according to the permissions thread in the hexing forum. the invid mesh should be good to use according to that. as far as animations go for the mechs, i'm not familiar enough with them to give you a solid recommendation.

Prolly my bad. I'm still pretty peaked (I'm supposed to take the pills right now but I don't want my thoughts any more numbed than they are) and I'm having problems typing. That's helpful thanks. I should stop being a lazy butt and just download and look at some really. Mostly the sword and maybe a flying anims. I started thinking about Jetfire for that so Leopardon could change into his jet form but I think a gun is the only available weapon (my toy came with a shiny sword but I think the toy company was fond of sticking extra weapons in like that). I think he also made that combiner thingamabob that has a sword? It was a bunch of wild animal Transformers that combined and made a huge Devastator like dude? I found a link that has every mesh on Mediafire though I have to wait to download when I'm in bonus minute time (2 am)

* " Predaking ". That's the one. Didn't seem like a nice Transformer. Like the kind that would step on your foot and say " Hurts donut " for kicks then steal your last beer from the fridge. Most of those Decepticons were jerks like that. It's why they weren't allowed to hang in the Ark with the cool kids.

While I'm here anyone know of a Ren mesh with sword animations? I'm trying to make Death Wolverine with his mesh and stuck some Taskmaster keys on it. However whenever I try and swap keys to his meshes they always flip at a 90 degree angle and the body warps during the new animation. I don't really understand yet what values I'm supposed to correct in the keyframe file for that and it would be easier to just take a sword anim from another of his. I can't remember if any of his use swords though? If not something that has a melee weapon that they put away at some point would work just as well. Thanks again here as well.

That's perfect! Thanks (why did I forget that?). Sorry for getting all asky. I'm organizing my stuff and trying to clip off little odds and ends on my system. I have about two weeks to just dedicate to this. It's also storming  so my yard work and renovations are halted. Time to give some good TLC to FF. Thanks for the helps everyone. These are ones I've wanted to do for awhile. The Wolverine since I first started modding actually. I had a little list of alt X-Men characters but never got to most.

Hm. I remember trying TJ's and not getting it to work but it looks like it may be the only option here. I guess I'll just experiment with it and see what I can do.

Thanks. That'll definitely come in handy down the line. I'm going to try a different route with Wolverine just as a still have a mountain of keyframing to climb as is but I'm sure I'll end up using that later. Thanks again. Also I finally had the time to check out all your stuff on FOP. Looks great, love it all and can't wait to see what you treat us to next.

* Got a cape and sword on TJ's with a bit of futzing about. Cape from TMC and sword and anims from INK's Black Knight (reduced TM keys so that seemed the shortest route). I'm glad I did actually. They're both great meshes, legends to FF of course. Ren's is more James though. A lot of character and attitude. It moves like " The Hero ". TJ's is cold and viscous. Like Frank Millers Wolverine. Moves like " The Killer ". The later I think works better for a Horseman. Now to sculpt all the costume parts. As well I'm going to tweak the Colossus attached to that one into a Horseman Calibain.

Ty. Need it for the list of credits. Found a lot in the other texts especially pertaining to distributing game files as well the Freedom Force story, logo and characters (it's allowed and encouraged just not to make any money on it) but the base legal stuff is supposed to be in that file.

Hello. Miss you all and I hope you are all having the best of days. Sorry again for my absence. My health has been major trouble, rather not go into details but needless to say I am still breathing. Still working on FF stuff, still uploading models to the deviantart site, still working on the things from the new engine chat. All in due time and I will be back on a bit more hopefully come Fall.

So the request is going to be a vague one but any tutorials about making keyframes in 3ds Max would be appreciated. I'm trying to get it down but am stumbling as much as I did learning how to skope them.
