Title: Need help with a Photoshop pic
Post by: Tortuga on March 17, 2014, 03:58:21 AM
Hey all,

You're the friendliest, bestest Photoshoppers I know, so I'll ask here.  I have a pic that I need some more expert hands to work on.  I've drawn parts with the polygonal tool and the lines are jaggedy, I want them curved and smooth.

If I email the photoshop file, can you help out?

Thanks,
Tortuga

You could e-mail it to lonespaceranger@gmail.com. I am, however, slow, so bear that in mind.

An additional thought-have you use the paths pallette to smooth up those lines?

I have no idea what the paths palette is or if my version of PS has it...I use PS 6 or 7.  Booyah.

And I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I'd need it soon -- by the weekend.  It's just one layer that needs smoothing out.  I'll send it and you decide if you can pull it off.

Thanks!

Got finished with a project that has been giving me fits, so I should be able to get to it next. Provided my computer is still working when I get home (there is a chance it won't be).

If I have time, I'll send a file with some stuff in it. No Photoshop book I ever read has much about the paths pallette (or paths or channels), but I spent a year drawing paths around stuff in pictures so that a laser engraver could cut them out into 2-D statues. In the process, I DID manage to learn a little about paths.
