Post by: deano_ue on February 23, 2014, 07:25:34 PM

i'm trying to build up parts to create a back catalog for possible skopes and i'm 99.9999% sure i seen an actual belt like that on a mesh, its easy skinable but i know i'm right. it'll be to go on female based meshes

Gren's Aquaman had something similar if I remember correctly.

You may also want to check out SickAlice's SaintWalker. His belt has the same shape, but isn't as thick as the Aquaman_Modern_Gren belt and looks very close to what your reference pic shows. Since you're wanting this for a female, it might work better. I could have sworn that I saw SickAlice grant permission for using his pieces, as his new work generally contains a lot of original work. I can't remember where I saw it though. Fortunately, he's currently very active, so checking with him shouldn't be a problem.

SickAlice's "Saint Walker" is located here: http://catman.freedomforceforever.com/pages/green.html

However, he is currently not on the NifSkope permissions list, but in some of his posts, he says to do what you will with his stuff, so I'm sure if you PM him, he'd more than likely grant permission.

As an alternative, Tomato's avatar at Heroforce in the Green Lantern costume has a mesh that has a belt that looks like what you are looking for.

Full permission is granted for anything I upload. Skinning, skoping, Blender, MAX. Anything you want to do. Heck if you only so much as adjust the tint on a skin feel free to do so and release it, I'd love to see it. I only ask that the original persons who worked on it be credited and all read me files included, and of course the company that created/owns the character. Personally I feel more part of a team process in anything I'm working on, like a person working on an assembly line, than any sort of creator so anything anyone else does I just see as another part of the creative process by another member of the team I'm working for.
Also I can make that belt (classic Mattel She-Ra?) easily if you like.
