The first site has the best ones, but the second group has some nice stuff too.
I've seen fantasy Super Team Family and Marvel Team-Up covers too. Brothers Stephen and Adam Strange team up...
Ohh man...why haven't these been made? I would read ALL of these! The Black Lagoon, Shadow, and Lovecraft ones, especially, I would kill to see actually created by someone good. :D
I love how the "Bells of Death" cover uses the original "Hunchback of Notre Dame" costume Chaney wore...and of course, the "Night of the Lepus" cover...perfect!!
Some quality cover art there. Nice. Reminds me of Superteam Family, I wished these existed for real.
Oddly enough, one of Will Murray's new Doc Savage stories is entitled "King of Skull Island", which is a flashback adventure that starts when Doc returns from The Fortress of Solitude to find a giant dead gorilla in the street in front of his skyscraper...
I've seen these when I was looking to see what was going on with Doc lately - there's been a few new rumors springing up again that a Doc Savage movie might be back on track.
I brought this up in Benton's pulp mod thread, but I'll mention it here and see what people's reactions are. I started working on a Doc Savage movie a few years back and had to quit due to engine limitations at the time, but now that I've jumped into modding/ converting I think I could probably finish it.
The movie linked below covers the 1st 7 chapters of the 1st Doc book "Man of Bronze" and lasts about 20 minutes. Lionhead's "The Movies Game" allows you to do a lot with the tools provided and while a bit jerky and silly due to scene limitations its closer to the original plot than the 70's movie was (which was also a bit silly).
I'm pretty happy with it considering what I had to work with, except for 1) Doc's face and 2) the "clown car" scene that I'll shorten or delete when I go back and edit it.
I've done some work on the second part already and I'm guessing on a total of 3 or 4 parts of around an hour total.
Opinions and comments welcome.
Edit - crap. Yahoo apparently can't handle a large file. I tried the high res version of 165 meg, and no luck and then tried a low res version of only 10 megs and I still got an error. I'll have to upload to a video site I guess. Hang on a bit.
update - Doc video now uploaded at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96F7punUm6I
