I'm more than a little excited about this. The first one was flawed, but still very, very good, thanks mostly to Prof. X and Magneto. They're adapting a fantastic story...so, here's hoping they do a good job.
I'm just really looking forward to seeing Sirs Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen in their X-Men roles again. Having the old and new casts cross over is going to be fun.
70s Xavier looks silly though.

Yeah, me too.
He really does. :P
First Class was one of those movies that I wasn't looking forward to (due to X3 being a mess), but I ended up liking it a lot. This looks very promising. Bishop looks hardcore and Ellen Page as Kitty is always awesome!
This is going to be the best. Though I hope after this, the movies return to the First Class lineup, since that movie was absolutely phenomenal.
Also really excited about The Wolverine tomorrow. I love X-Men more than I love my dad. JK. But seriously.
I have a REAL difficult time being excited for any of the X-movies after the original trilogy traumatized me so badly. I had no hope for First Class and I really enjoyed it (as long as I didn't consider it canon to the other three films....). I refuse to get excited for this movie. Works better for me that way.
I haven't really been a fan of any of the X-men movies so far. Some have been o.k. and others horrible but they just didn't seem to work for me. I went in with very low expectations for First Class. First Class was alright but if I wasn't already a comic book fan and just went off that movie I would have no idea why people would consider Xavier and Magneto such great friends. To me is just seemed like a working relationship and not much more. Nothing like a "good friends who don't see eye to eye" story at all.
