Title: James Bond and a skope i don't think anybody would ever ask for
Post by: detourne_me on July 14, 2013, 05:00:25 PM
Hello all,
In my yahoo group http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/detourne_me/files/
I've just released James Bond in the Misc. section.
The models were imported into FF by Randomdays, and I skoped them onto Texas Jack's Spy Vs. Spy mesh

Also in the Marvel section I quickly threw together some skins and a skope for Phat, the late X-Force/X-Statix member
He is skoped using Syn's (by way of Texas Jack) Morph, Gni's Silent Scout, Tommyboy's Bouncing Boy, and Texas Jack's Sandman.
The base skin is from Courtnal 6.

I don't know who the Phat character is, but it is certainly a fun skope. Nice work on Bond as well.

Hey detourne_me ,
Just so you know I'm gonna download good old 007, and I'm gonna see if it works for me and maybe see if it's better than the one for the Male Suit Guns mesh which is in the form of a skin. Also, I just noticed your Rocket Raccoon (Prototype) on your Yahoo Group and I just wanted to let you know that I'm also gonna download him too, see what he looks like and if he's good enough and works for me depending on how the finished version of itself looks like it might be able to enjoy him one way or another. Just so you detourne_me ^_^, just in case you forgot Podmark will be getting to work on his own version of Rocket Raccoon whenever he gets to it after he finishes his current project character from MARVEL COMICS X-MEN known as Mercury and I hope that Podmark's Rocket Raccoon compared to the prototype version you have on your Yahoo Group will be good enough compared to the prototype version that you have on your Yahoo Group. Anyways :), great job on James Bond 007 detourne_me and as always keep up the good work . Peace !

I'll drink to that ^_^, plus I agree with martialstorm I love James Bond 007 and furthermore he does look like the Sean Connery version in his younger years when he was being filmed during the filming of the classic 007 films such as Dr. No (1962), From Russia with Love (1963), Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), You Only Live Twice (1967), Diamonds Are Forever (1971) and the unofficial film of 007 and I do mean unofficial Never Say Never Again (1983) (unofficial). I am a fan of the classic James Bond 007 films featuring, and also I don't mind seeing the other 007 films with different actors in them such as the ones featuring George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan but the one movie along with the one actor was not good but so-so good was Daniel Craig in SKYFALL plus I didn't mind CASINO ROYALE and QUANTUM OF SOLACE they were fairly good enough for me to enjoy  and :). Anyways once again, great on 007 detourne_me and above all keep on meshing and skinning along with keeping up the good work ;).

Both of them look great, but I like a lot your Phat skope.

I guess I need to get to work and finish all the Bond meshes sitting on the hard drive.

In the near future, look for the classic Sean Connery Bond on Punisher kfs,

Classic M, Q, Miss Moneypenny and Tatiana from "From Russia with Love"

Red Grant, Jaws, Scaramanga from "The Man with the Golden Gun", and Dr No

Bond driving the Ausin Martin from Goldfinger and flying Little Nellie from "You Only Live Twice"

I tried to find a good mesh for the underwater car from "The Spy Who Loved Me" but no luck.

Thanks back. Still around but still extremely busy

Been trying to get the Austen Martin to wrok corrently and had a skope of Sean'bond inside the car driving it, but too many problems with it since the original mesh was made of lots of different parts - not coming out well at all. I'll just release the rest and have to forget about that one.

hi randomdays, just out of curiosity, and a little bit of greed, are you still planning on trying to get the underwater car working? I have to say, that was my all time favorite bond vehicle. and from probably my favorite bond movie.

The underwater car, and the Auston Martin both had major issues. For the underwater car I never really found a good version to play with. I think one of the video games had a major section where you drove around in it in a mine field, but its not one I have right now and not sure if there's a gamecube version of it whatever it is.

This is probably the best version I could find otherwise; http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=a1f9cddaba9cb94480c2e60c312b0f09&prevstart=24
