Hey guys, I could have sworn that I saw a commercial for one. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks in advance.
Urm, I saw one recently with Supergirl and Brainiac, might that be the one of which you're thinking? Apparently it's entitled Superman Unbound.

Thanks Benton. That was the one I was thinking of. Since you said you have seen it, I am assuming it's been released. Now it's just a matter of getting a copy to watch.
I hope I get to see this one soon. I bought the first few DC Universe movies on DVD, but have been renting the more recent entries from RedBox until I find a good deal on the films I really like.
I rewatched Superman Vs. the Elite this weekend and came to appreciate it even more after having seen Man of Steel.
SvE is a solid reflection on what Superman has always stood for and whether or not such traditional notions of a hero can still resonate with modern people living in a more violent age. Now I need to go find a cheap copy of Action Comics #775, which apparently inspired this story!
Yeah, SvE is even more impressive after the advent of the new movie. I rewatched it recently too, and it really is quite good. Netflix has a lot of these, so that's where I've watched them. I haven't seen this new one, though.
My wife just picked this up for me, hopefully I'll get to watch it soon. :D

I actually found it pretty bad but I'll watch with a new eye since you found it impressive. On the other hand , some things in this zone resonate differently.. On the other hand after our experience with MOS, my own wife is more likely to pick up Superman stuff for me ( we're rewatching a lot of the cartoons now) so maybe I'll get Superman Unbound.
I got to start watching this today. While not as good as some of the other DC animated movies, what I saw was still pretty enjoyable. Hoping to watch the rest tonight.
Mind you, I still haven't read the comics that it was based on, so in that respect, I can't compare the two.
So after four attempts, I finally got to watch the whole thing through. I think that my chief complaint on this is with Lois Lane. Not sure who did the voice acting for her, but it just wasn't there for me with her. Otherwise, minor plot holes aside, I have to say that I did really enjoy this.
That said, this wasn't as strong as the other DC animated movies, but it does have a replay value that makes this worthwhile.
