Title: Removing Texture Mirrors?
Post by: martialstorm on May 04, 2013, 02:07:24 PM
Hi folks,

I've been trying to remove the reflected logo from this characters back using Nifskope and the Edit UV function without success. I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

I don't think this is something you can skope away, especially if you've already attempted it with nifskopes uv edit function. You can try using one of the niftools importers to change it with a mesh program, but a simpler solution might be to just do the symbol floating in front, rebirth style.

If I remember correctly, the "Edit UV" function is mainly meant to move the mapping around, it doesn't really change how something is mapped. I agree with 'Mato though, if it were me, I would go for the floating symbol. That takes the mapping issue out of the equasion.
