Hiya Fellas, has any of you meshes for Marvels Cardiac(big angry hardcase guy with staff!!), Sentry(more hardcase, psycho guy with the power of a solar system!), Blade(a non-gay twilight semi vampire preferably with gun and sword animations) and Scorpion(well..Nuff said).Oh, also do you know of any Ms Marvel mesh? I'll see what I have of Ms Marvel, but I don't think I have Cardiac.

The skope/mesh contains skins of three of her incarnations (Marvel, Warbird, and Binary).
I should be doing homework right now, but instead I find myself starting a skope for Cardiac. I'm having to take some creative liberties with it, partially because of the pieces available, and partially because every picture I see of this guy is different. Kind of frustrating. It will be a while before I finish the skope, partially because of my workload, and partially because I haven't skoped anything in quite a while and have forgotten some of the basics of skoping. When I do finish this, would anyone be willing to skin it?

I know, I know...but if I can at least partially help to fill someone's request, I gotta try. I'm just doing the easy part though. And like I said, this won't be my best skope ever, I'm way out of practice, but it should do till a better one comes up.

Wow CB you cant be serious. You are beginning to built it? Man i didnt mean to put you into so much trouble, a link for a mesh would be all right. Many thx i appreciate the effort. The skope is fine, i can totally see cardiac in that. I know its not well know but i always found him an interesting character, divided but his anger and his will to protect. He gave me a punsiher feeling :P.

I added a no face helm to it because one of the pictures looked like he had no nose or other facial features. But that can easily be removed if you want. I'd be glad to send it your way.

This is no trouble at all, I'm just out of practice. If I had an existing mesh/skin, I would gladly have sent that to you, but since I don't, I don't mind helping out with a skope.
What about doing a body transplant from MB Noface or Tomato's Noface mesh? I've tried 'Mato's stuff on a couple of MB meshes and they work (Got an overweight guy with a gun for an agent).
I'm so used to using Tommy's stuff that I hadn't thought about those. I've already sent the skope to Helix, nut if he wants, I could make changes to it.
Don't do a noface base. He has facial features. I would, however, prefer to see the shoulder pads from Black_Knight_INK on him

Very...very frustrating. I had to take some liberties with the design due to mesh limitations and size of the hexable pieces. Here's what I have so far. Hopefully, I can clean it up.

I, of course, had the same problem. I saw one picture of him that had these shapes on the cuffs, whereas another pic did not. I went through the headache of trying these out, but when I beveled the shapes to make the look 3D, it turned out looking weird.

I am almost done with Cardiac. There is no refl value on some of the added parts, so I couldn't make them shiny, but I'm still playing with them. The cuffs on his costume are supposed to be pouches, which wouldn't be shiny anyway. It just looks kind of odd.
I took a few liberties with the design of his costume for two reasons: (1) There wasn't enough room between some of the added parts. That's nobody's fault, it just works out that way sometimes. And (2) I made the pattern larger so that you could actually see it in the game. I also made his eyes yellow so that you could distinguish the from the rest of the white pattern on his mask.

I know the pieces from INk's Black Knight mesh don't have the reflection turned on, they didn't on the original mesh, and I'm not sure how to add it from scratch. Everything else though, should have working reflections. If not, let me know, and I'll take another look at the skope.
Helix, I believe I can get the reflect and glow effects put on the pieces you need. I'll PM you my email. Just let me know what pieces you need to have the effects on. The skope looks great, by the way. Cyber, great job on the skope and Helix, the skin looks awesome.

Um, what hood? I have seen about 20 different pictures of Cardiac and he didn't have a hood in any of them.

STATUS REPORT: I am pleased to announce that I am finished with Cardiac. Despite all efforts to get all of the detail on the cuffs, I found that in the end, simplicity works best. Jamming all of the detail into the cuffs made them look too busy. So, I would like to thank Cyber Burn for the fantastic skope and Hoss20 for his help with the refl. You guys are awesome!

My mistake helix. i was wrong. Nice mesh guys. really good job. Can i ask if you have given him ranged animations with his staff so he can fire his particle beams?
I don't remember. It's got the keyframes that came with the original mesh by Tommyboy. You may have to convert and try some other staff wielder keyframes to see if they work with that mesh. I would suggest trying Firelord by Grenadier, Swashbuckler_kx by Kenn X, Gambit by INK, Gambit by Gni, and Checkmate_Knight by Grenadier. Or maybe you can ask someone if they can make some custom kfs using the ones I just mentioned. I'd do it for you if I could, but I don't know how.
D'oh! Hey, Cyber...I just had an idea. How do you feel about throwing all of those extras onto Gren's Firelord mesh? It's got cool flaming staff FX and some ranged staff attacks. I've already tried the Cardiac skin on it, turned off the flaming head FX, and changed the flaming staff FX. It looks pretty sweet!
If you could send me the Firelord mesh, I'll give it a shot.
Edit: I probably won't be able to get back to it till at least next week though. I have a couple of papers that I have to work on.

Insomnia really bites, but at least I was able to be a little bit productive. I hexxed off the upper leg cuffs so that it better matches the pic that Helix posted, and switched everything over to Gren's Firelord mesh. Now it just needs the staff and flame effect skinned, then it should be ready for a release.
Nice! Funny how I didn't even notice the lack of leg cuffs in the pic I posted. Huh. Anyhoo...thanks a lot for skoping this, Cyber. Just don't neglect the school work!

As for the skope, I sent it back your way to get the staff skinned, then it should be ready for a release. Also, since I've retired from actually skinning, I definitely appreciate you stepping up and skinning Cardiac. It looks great, and we were able to fill someone's request, always a plus for me.
Aye mates that right. But most important is the fact that you added a hero to the FF pantheon. Maybe not one of the most popular but plus 1 is always better than none. :thumbup:

Since I'm a sucker for alternate skins, I uploaded the skin as a stand alone skin to be used with the Cardiac skope. After all, variety is the spice of life.
