Title: WWZ trailer
Post by: Grendal_71 on December 08, 2012, 06:19:54 PM
I checked and didn't see another post like this, so I hope I'm not double-posting, but...has anyone else who has read WWZ, and then seen the trailer also cocked their head to the side and muttered, "huh?"....are we going back to the day of Stephen King book-to-movie translations that resemble their source material in name only?  I'm not one of those wonks who insists that prose-movie translations must be 100% one-to-one accurate, but I am sort of sick of this sort of stuff.  Why go through all the trouble of securing the rights to make it a movie if you're going to ignore everything that went into the book, or at least do a complete 180 on the major themes of the book?   :banghead:

While I haven't read the books, I know enough about them to have had practically the same reaction when I saw the trailer, so I will be completely ignoring the film.
