Title: Transparent mesh?
Post by: davy jones on May 24, 2012, 08:44:12 PM
I need to know how to make a transparent mesh? Through the meshing engine or another way?
I'm working on an awesome project and I really need this. Gonna post some pics when it's done

Also, how can I assign details to the mesh? Like shoulderplates, beard, stuff like that. Also can I make them disappear/appear only in certain animations? Via Bones?

And is there a guide on exporting?

Uhhhhm,

I don't know if there's a guide for that anymore. I think there used to be one on the OLD forum before one of the crashes, but I don't think it survived. IG might have shed some light on that in their guide, which is included with FFedit. Actually, I believe Figure Fan might be able to help you since he did it with some FXes via old school hexing (that is, if he still remember), and you might consider hitting up VERTEX or GRENADIER.

You can also check out the Comprehensive List of Tutorials (http://freedomreborn.net/forums/index.php?topic=50675.0) to see if anything there will help you out.
