Title: Alcatraz... and Golden Age Sandman?

And this is how you get me to watch a Fox TV show I never heard of...

Anyone know the story behind this?

The Fox TV show Alcatraz I happen to like.  I know of no connection to Sandman, although there's lot of flashbacks and references to earlier timeperiods, plus one of the main character owns a comic shop.

There is no conection at all to Sandman, except that one of the main characters owns a comics book store (Jorge García, "Hurley" from LOST), and that the forensic doctor (lady in the photo above) that helped so far in just one case is a fan of Golden Age Sandman.
