Ok, if you've never heard of this show, let me start by saying that it is hilarious! It's not the usual fare for this crowd, but I'm recommending it because it's LOL funny with a capital E for Everybody.
It's a stop-motion-style series about a bumbling farmer, his dog, and a zany flock of sheep led by Shaun. This comes from Aardman Studios, the same bunch that gave us Wallace and Gromit, but way more funny and with far better animation. The dialog is minimal and mostly incomprehensible; it's the 'physical' comedy that makes the show.
It's clean, though there's occasionally a bit of gross humor, and it's fun for both kids and adults to watch. You will not believe the kinds of trouble that a bunch of sheep could get into. The adults will catch the few bits that go over the kids' heads.
You can find it on Netflix. There are clips on the official site but they are out of context and not all that funny.
My wife & daughter loves that show. I caught a few episodes and I'll admit, it is better than Wallace & Gromit
I watched an episode with my nephew and really liked it. I actually kind of prefered it over his star wars cartoons.
