In case you hadn't heard... if you have ever previously subscribed to Star Trek Online, they have opened up the Free-To-Play game for former subscribers as of now. You may reactivate your account as a Silver (free) player.
Public launch won't be open until Jan 17.
And if anyone lacks a fleet, Federation Reborn is open for recruitment ;)
I logged online last night for the first time in many many months. Wow...I was immediately overwhelmed by all the changes. Ground combat, duty officers, skill reassigning, and more. It was almost too much lol. I had to start a new character just to remember how to play! :wacko:
Still needs more mission content, but yes it's a changed game. Going "totally free" for the general public on Tuesday.
