Is anyone else here a bit glum that HBO cancelled Bored to Death after its gleefully absurd three-season run? I am bound to say that I have never laughed so often nor so heartily as I did when watching that programme. 'Tis a shame, for I felt that Ted Danson was earnestly back in the game in top form, and Mr. Schwartzman and Mr. Galifianakis were equally brilliant.
Now I'm depressed...and bored...

That show was consistently great. Pure gold, in fact.
I would have loved to see where things go from the third season. That being said, it is still a pretty good ending. Actually every season ended rather well, and could have sufficed as a series ending. That is a pretty rare thing.
But, yeah, it was great. I am surprised people aren't up in arms crazy about it, like they seem to be for Community.
I was disappointed that HBO was cleaning its roster and took this show off the air. I loved it, and thinking on it now, I'm shocked that each season was only 8 episodes long because last season felt longer for some reason. Anyway, it was nice seeing a comedy utilizing some noir elements and that featured a writer as the main lead. Fun times.
