hopefully a very simple request. i only need a range of different colors, in 2 sets. the first set, regular spectrum, basic colors. the second, i need a set of material colors, leather, steel, crushed velvet, plastic, anything else you can think of.
I can do this for you. I apologize for not keeping up with things. I've very much wanted to help you out, but things aren't going so well in RL. So, if you let me know what format you would like these palettes (individual images?, image type, size and resolution, etc.), I would be happy to get it done. It'll help get out of my funk and back into the swing of things.

for the basic set, small resolution and size would be fine. the materials should be a little larger, to allow for detail.
epymithee mentioned that tga is the best format to work in, if you can.
I've posted a couple of zip files to my Yahoo group. They are in the B. I. G. folder in my files section. Besides the colors (red, green, blue, yellow, orange, purple, brown, black, white, and gray), I've done 8 textures: crushed velvet, denim, leather, metal (stainless steel and brushed metal), scales, spandex, stone, and wood (pine and rosewood). The color files are 128x128 and the texture files are 256x256 tga's. I included the base texture along with all of the colored variants for each. I hope it's what you were looking for. Let me know what else you need or if you'd like something changed to what I did. Also, PM me your e-mail if you'd prefer to get the files that way.
