Title: Shades

I ran Shades through the converter and ended up doing something to the mesh, so now it won't load.  I can't find it on the web anywhere, and there isn't a read me file tacked on.  Does anyone have it?

If you ran it through the .nif converter, then there should be a character.nif.bak file. Just delete the character.nif file and rename the character.nif.bak file to character.nif and you should have the original.
