Title: Plastic, Rubber, Elastic
Post by: isais1 on February 06, 2011, 06:22:41 AM
I am looking for either a Plastic, Rubber, Elastic character i have some some i installed them but their action don't work, for example a few Plastic Man, when you select a melee attack, the character does has no animation for it, it won't move. Does any one have one that actually works, that has the animations with it.

Hi, couple questions first...
1. Which game are you playing? FF or FFVTTR?
2. Does the folder include the character.nif and the keyframes.kf files?
3. If you are playing FFVTTR, did you fully convert the character and keyframes files?

Let me know the answers and I'm sure we could help you out.

I have FFV3R and yes they have all the files and converted, but this the one and only character that does not work.

You might have Plasticman Buff TJ, which did not come with keyframes. The original Plasticman TJ is here:

There are some modified keyframes around:

There are also some SFX around to simulate stretch punches and rubber-armed entangles. I'm pretty sure they come with FFX.

Tommy has two Mr. Fantastic meshes. Both are very good. I think the other one is in one of his Yahoo groups.

.rar is an archive file like a .zip. The last few versions of Windows I've used would extract both. I have a P_E_N_D_I_N_G directory in my Custom Heroes folder. I put the archive in it, right click and "extract here", then I can look in the extracted folders or files and set them up, find keyframes, maybe put some other skins in the skins folder, read the text files (most of the time) and then either cut and paste it to the Custom directory or drag and drop (depending).

Other people, I'm sure, do it different ways.
