Title: Medusa from The Inhumans
Post by: atomic_lizard on December 22, 2010, 05:15:17 AM
Medusa from The Inhumans. I had toyed with the idea of Beyonders' Doc Ock tenticales attached to the head, but sadly it is beyond my skill level. (no pun intended, Beyonder).

Maybe, you could create hairy looking fx like the way meshers have done is various elastic characters.

Bearded did a Medusa with animated hair:

I think it takes any Female Longhair skin (and I've got two or three of Medusa and one of the LSH villain Spider-Girl). I got a ranged "hair" attack SFX from someplace, too.

Great News Guys and Dolls, My Girls ex is a professional Art Teacher and very talented. He has agreed to undertake the task of making a completely new mesh of Medusa with all the bells and whistles. I promise to share as soon as he sends it my way. If you have any source material for Medusa in action please send it my way so that we can get a really high quaility mesh and keyframes out of him. Thanks.

Wow, that's fairly awesome!  You should try to persuade him to pick up meshing FF stuff as a full time hobby. ;)  That sounds great though.
