Signatures would it take for irrational games to make a freedom force 3 or a freedom force online
Signatures probably wont help anything unless each one was accompanied by a pre-order. Signing something saying you are interested and actually coming through with a purchase are two different things, and I think their experience with the second game trying to market it and sell it themselves burned em a bit financially....
it always comes down to money.
If they put out a new freedom force on Steam I think they would do well, steam has done wonders for smaller games.
Just based on what I remember everything went wrong with :ffvstr: starting with not enough marketing.
I think they could pull it off... that said there is a lot that Irrational can pull off that would make more money. And I consider them to be one of the less "in it for the money" companies... every game seems to have something to do with a particular philosophical question that Ken Levine is into at the moment rather than "well WW2 games are selling right now..."
I hate to say it but the money right now is into consoles, which IMHO is no true. So only if there's a demand for FF on the 360 or PS3, it's not going to happen

Interestingly, I found Marvel Ultimate Alliance to be similar in a lot of ways to FF - four player tac, corn-ball role playing. Could be a starting point for a FF console game . . .

Well, that's certainly depressing.

Not a fan, Dana? I won't say that it was a fabulous game, but fun enough it it's way.

Oh no, it's not that, Uncle Y..I just don't have a console game system and I don't really want to ever get one....I'd be majorly bummed if an FF sequel came out and was only available for a game console.
