Title: Hank Pym
Post by: nrozich on December 04, 2010, 05:44:50 PM
Is there a mesh that can change from giant-man to ant-man and back like in Avengers Earth's mightiest heroes? Or is there a way to do that?

There aren't any meshes that do that (I think), but there is certainly a way to do that.  If you pick your favorite Ant-Man and Giant-Man meshes, then create a couple of herofiles or built-in entries for 'ol Hank, you can use the FFX "Shapeshifter" attribute to assign one or the other as his alternate form.  That way, maybe you bring him in as Ant-Man, but at any point he can grow to Giant-Man with a click.

I attempted to skope that for upcoming Giant-Man set but it didn't work out. Definitely something I'd like to see.

Did you try using Tommy's male_basic growth and tiny keys together? I did that for Stature and it seems to work fine.

Nevermind I did read the first commie.

That sounds cool, looking forward to it.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm going to try the shapeshifter attribute.  Mixing keyframes is too complicated for me.

Doesn't Texas Jacks' Atom Mesh have a "Growth" attack in all that size changing between attacks that he has going on? If so, couldn't some just skope on some alpha enabled parts for the Helmet?

I used Nifskope to swap in Bobby69's tiny Ant Man body for the tiny Male_Basic body on Texas Jack's Atom so I could have an Ant Man that grows.

Someone else (Detourneme?) did something similar so that The Atom could ride an ant.
