QuoteWho's ready for another Hulk TV series?
As DC Comics heroine Wonder Woman, who had a TV series during the 1970s, is being prepped for a return to the small screen, Marvel and ABC are developing a TV return for the Incredible Hulk. CBS produced a memorable series featuring the jade giant that ran from 1978-82 and starred Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno.
At the end of the decade, ABC followed up with three TV movies that featured incarnations of Marvel heroes Daredevil and Thor.
"Hulk" is one of two projects that are priorities at Marvel Television, Marvel Studio's TV division, which has been operating under the radar since Jeph Loeb took the reins at the end of June. The second hot property is "Cloak and Dagger," which is being developed as a possible show for ABC Family.

Finally TV is becoming worth watching again!
This was one of the things I was hoping would come out of the Disney/Marvel merger, with ABC and Marvel now being under the same ownership.
The thing that amuses me (besides the list of properties being looked at) is that Warner Brothers has already been doing this with some DC properties with some degree of success. (Smallville, The Human Target, and the forthcoming Wonder Woman revival.)
It's an interesting list of properties being looked at, though.
I heard something about Cloak and Dagger, which could potentially be great if they dont cheese it up.
Stuff I would love to see:
Punisher: a mixture of Dexter and 24 on a cable channel.
Alias: also cable... a mix of Dirt (anyone see that?) and Heroes, in other words nasty tabloid stories about mutants.
Heroes for Hire: Luke Cage or Iron Fist are great movie names but Heroes for Hire is the perfect TV name.
Moon Knight: dont write off the multiple identities, egyptian god obsession, mercenary angle or any of it. Use all of what makes him unstable. A dark response to Batman would seem less cliche on TV than it does in the comics.
New X-Men: high school drama meets heroes. With X-Men cameos, teen romance, decent FX and characters such as Dust, X-23, Pixie, Rockslide and Hellion. Ok, this one might be a better cartoon, a la Wolvie and the X-Men.
and back to the DC success they really should do Scalped.
ive always thought Heroes for Hire would make a good tv show. :)

So have I.
I always thought the current volume of X-Factor, with Madrox and his team acting as a private investigators, would make an excellent Angel style TV show.
I think pretty much all of lugaru's ideas could be awesome if done right.
I grew up watching the Hulk tv show. actually saw the first pilot episode.( yeah, that old ) as much of a hulk fan that i am i cant see it as a tv show nowadays. back in the 70's ferrigno and the whole concept were big/ new, but dont think i'd work today. ive always thought that the last hulk movie was good but they shouldnt have killed him off. they need to make one more tv movie to end it right. my idea is they take banners body back to some military base for study. doc samson an old friend of banners finds out he's alive but just barely. an infusion of gamma rays revives him. samson would have some physical ailment and seeing as how banners blood has healing abilities for banner tries some on himself ala superhuman doc samson. thunderbolt ross could also be in this movie. betty too. she was banner/samson's college friend and they both had a thing for her. seeing banner after all these years sparks an old flame which causes samson to be jealous. the hulk blood not only gave him superhuman strength but steroid type mad ons. he confronts banner, roughs him up, banner hulks out, battle takes place with hulk proving his superior power, gives samson a beat down. thunderbolt ross see's the hulk and what a danger he could be a launches an attack on him. hulk escapes and is back on the run again. thats my idea for movie/new pilot.

The only problem is the parent company is Disney. It's hard to see them doing something like Dexter or 24 on any channel. Though, I admit that I am not aware of all the cable channels that they own these days.
However, I bet you are spot on with how the pitch went for the show.
