Title: ToHit Buff Attribute Possible?
Post by: SHAUNIE on October 07, 2010, 06:43:49 AM
Hi,

Yeah, curious... with FFX, is it possible to make a "ToHit" buff or "ToHit" debuff attribute?

There's absolutely no reason to do this as an attribute.  Each power already has it's likelihood to hit customizable as "swiftness."  Simply increased all of them would have exactly the same effect.

As a temporary power effect it might be interesting, but I'm not sure if that can be done.

SIDE NOTE: Swiftness is just the success rate of the attack hitting or is it the speed of the attack?

It's primarily the to-hit of the attack, which is then compared to the enemies agility. I'm pretty sure only the animations affect how quickly the power fires.

I was asking because I wanted to make a couple of attributes... like... a "Leadership" attribute that increases the tohit of friendly characters.

So, the attribute "Blitzkrieg" just means they have more accurate and damage when making melee attacks?

Is "Crackshot" increases the accuracy of ranged attacks or ranged and melee attacks, or everything??? I'm looking for a power that makes ranged attacks better.

Basically... I wanted if not already there

- increases the tohit and damage of self + nearby teammates
- increases the tohit and damage of self when teammates are not nearby
- increases the tohit and damage when nearby teammates

- increases tohit and damage of melee attacks
- increases tohit and damage of projectile attacks
-increases tohit and damage of beam attacks

What is "RALLY"???
