Title: Mass Effect 'mini game' just ruined the game for me
Post by: Uncle Yuan on October 04, 2010, 02:44:30 AM
Blankety-blank mini game!  After over 20 tries I can not get more than two keys into unlocking this thing.  This has to be the stupidest mini game in all video games.  As a middle age player I just don't have the reflexes necessary to do this.  Period.  And this one little thing has me so aggravated with the game I simply have no more desire to play it.

Grrr.

Which game and which mini-game?

If it's the ring shaped frogger thing from the first one, don't even bother trying with the reflexes.  Move the cursor around to where you get a clear path through the stationary thingies, wait for as clear a moment as you can, then just hit the forward button as fast as you can.  You'll probably get half of them that way, and that's more stuff then you'll actually need anyway.

If it's the game Cat's talking about then just use omni gel.  The Mass Effect 2 circuit is much worse! I can't move the mouse fast enough for it.

Really?  I thought the circuit game was mind numbingly easy.  I finished most round with half to 3/4 of my time still left.

ME1 on XBox 360 and that horrid ABXY twitch fest.  Argh.
