well folks, it's that time of year again. Christmas is on the horizon, which means all the big name games are coming out soon, as well as some small name games that think they can cut in on some of the profits. What are you guys interested in and going to buy? (or ask Santa for? ;) )
I already have Halo Reach, but besides that:
-Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
-Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
those are probably the two main ones I will buy day one, but others I'm interested in are:
-Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2
-Fallout New Vegas
-Enslaved
-Call of Duty Black Ops
I also want Starcraft 2, Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, and several other games that already came out that I never bought.
Having just finished the campaign, I can tell you that Starcraft 2, at least from a single player perspective, is well worth getting. The storyline is maybe not quite up to the standards of the first, but the fun and innovative campaign design more than make up for that.
Was hoping for Assasin`s Creed: Brotherhood this fall but alas PC version comes out next year :banghead:
That being said, I`m really looking forward to
-Force Unleashed 2
-DCU online

I'm right there with you on those. I'll probably jump on Assassin's Creed well after X-Mas.
Only two games I am particularly looking forward to are Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 and Fable III.
That said, there are a couple that are already out that I wouldn't mind getting as well.
I wish getting DCU online was an option but I don't own a PS3 or a PC. And I doubt my dad's PC is good enough to handle it.
These are my most anticipated games..
-Fallout New Vegas (PC)
-Assassins Creed Brotherhood (console)
-Force Unleashed 2 (console)
Games I'm interested in but won't be first day buys...
-Vanquish (console) fun demo.
-Dead Rising 2 (console) this was a first day buy...but fell out due to it having the same damn timed gameplay as the first one.
-DCU Online (pc) hope they have a trial or demo up for it shortly after release.
Starcraft 2. Is. AMAZING.
I actually haven't really gotten many new games other than that. I'm not a Halo fan and I've been too busy with college and learning to drive to get any new games. However, I am hugely looking forward to Diablo 3, Civ 5, and Marvel vs Capcom 3. Those are the top 3 on my list right now.
DCU Online & getting a PS3 again - Most of the other games I want come out early next year like Gears of War 3 & Marvel vs Capcom 3
So many new game coming out and so many that came out already. I'm going to have to finish my current games first and then I can worry about getting new games.
- Blood Bowl Legendary Edition - 11 new teams including the Khemri - Very nice indeed - http://www.bloodbowl-game.com/ (http://www.bloodbowl-game.com/)
Fallout Las Vegas - A continuation of three of my favourite games, of course I'm gonna get this one.
Civilization V - Oh wait it's already here. Yeah!
Just got NHL 11 for my bday, so that one's off the list.
Otherwise, I have Fable 3 and Super Assassin's Creed Bros. on preorder.
Was interested in Enslaved and Dead Rising 2, but will wait until they've gone down in price.

Picked up Blood bowl for $10 and it got me hooked real bad, despite the fact that die rolls get in the way of my strategy all the time. Give me 11 more teams and I will have to quit my job.
Fallout New Vegas should rock, I'm hoping it will be everything I love of fallout 3 with a little bit of the originals mixed in to make it better.
add Dragon Age Ultimate Edition to my list. I never played the original, and now a version with all DLC that's been released, including the Awakening expansion, is coming out in October.
I love and hate this time of year for gaming. Tons of great titles released, but no way can I buy all of them. And it's not even about price, but time. I simply don't have nearly enough time to enjoy all these games. I have Halo Reach and the new Castlevania (which is awesome, btw) and I feel like these games will last me plenty. Plus, there's my backlog, which I won't even list. *sigh*
