Looks likea camp re-imagening of Tesuo 2: Body Hammer. Meets inspector gadget.

If I were a Bollywood fan, that would probably be at the top of my list to see.

Since I am not, it's not.  My brain simply can not reconcile compelling sci-fi with huge dance numbers.  My suspension of disbelief does not run that deep.

If I went in expecting bad, I might like it for the humor factor.

What that guy said right there. "We must stop the bad guy! But 1st, this dance number." Reminds me of Superman/Spider Woman. Look that one up sometime. Eyes still hurt.

Yes, but I imagine a good portion of your eyestrain was related to stuff that had nothing to do with dancing and more to do with what I loosely refer to as "special effects".  The dancing left me scratching my head.  I get that it's a cultural thing, even if I personally have little appreciation for it.  The part that had me ready to claw my eyes out was the "flying and dancing in mid-air" green screen effect.

The SFX in this one appear to be decent at first glance, if not necessarily believable.
