Title: How to...
Post by: daglob on September 20, 2010, 11:30:55 PM
I'm working on an old Skywald character called Hellrider. He has a flamethrower on his motorcycle. Since I'm supplying a scoped mesh for the character, I can scope on the cycle a little (it's on Tommy's Captain America Bike mesh). I'm thinking of taking one of Tommy's rifles from Tom Versatile, turning it upside down and putting it below the light on the bike. Most of the gun will be hidden within the engine and the gas tank.

So, how do I fix it so that the gun will shoot flame? Can I?

No, I'm serious.

If there is a tutorial around, I would be glad to read it. I just don't know what to look for.

I haven't tried this, but you should be able to take whatever flame FX you want to use, make a copy of it, and change the "start" location in FFEdit to whatever your gun Node is called.

The character will have a gun, which I would like to keep.

As long as the two guns have different names, it shouldn't be a problem.

I'll try it and see.

Thanks!
