Apparently Stan the Man has put his name on the creation of three new characters for Boom Studios, though he won't actually be writing any of the titles:

I have to say...I like the looks of these concepts. As a matter of fact, they all sound interesting to me, but I am really curious about The Traveler. If these books manage to avoid the things that I detest about modern comics (and the fact that they are new, independent titles already puts them a big step ahead), I could definitely get onboard. I think I'll have my LCS pull these for me for at least an issue or two. What do y'all think?
Starborn seems the most interesting to me. I've actually had an idea identical to it brewing in my head for a while. Now It's finally being made. :lol:

Stan amazes me. He's almost 90 and he's creating these creators, doing voice work for Super Hero Squad, and working on his anime Heroman, among other things. It makes me so happy to still see him doing things.

Yeah, or at least non-Striperella things. Though he was so funny playing himself on Robot Chicken.
This definitely sounds like books I will have every intention of checking out but never get around to.
There is a little bit of Kirby in Starborn, which I like.
Starborn and the Traveller sound neat. I don't really care for Solider Zero that much. I'll make sure to check out all the books though.
