...and they are SERIOUS!  DEADLY SERIOUS!  Because it is DC and DEAD means DEAD now...until it doesn't or Superboy punches something...or Dan Didio farts; something like that.  :banghead:

I thought that DC had the exclusive rights for that kinda cover work but I was flipping through my Marvel Previews for November and low and behold there it was. A complete cast picture for the final part to the Doctor Strange story arc in NEW AVENGERS and the words "An Avenger Dies!" right there on the cover.

Have DC and Marvel copyrighted "death" too in comics?  Do other companies have to say "In This Issue a Hero...Expires!".  Not so much with the gravitas.

I dont remember if Invincible announces it on the cover but man, they mow down heroes.
