Title: adding your own wav files
Post by: SupaheroTV on July 09, 2010, 02:09:28 PM
i tried adding my own wav files to some fx's in ffedit, but it wont play the sound. Ive downloaded some fx's from the fxforce site before with wav files and they play just fine but i dont get why my own ones are not working like that. very confusing

Check the Bit Rate, Sample Size and Sample Rate.  Compare it to a .wav file that you know works.  It may not be the proper format, or may just be too big.

it might be the bit rate. all the others that work from Fxforce are like 705kbps and the ones ive got are like 1411 kbps. I tried to do some research on the rnet on how to lower the bitrate for wav files, but couldn't find anythin

I'm pretty sure Audacity will let you make the changes quite easily.
