Title: Using hero files for meshes in mods...
Post by: Cyber Burn on May 29, 2010, 05:23:37 PM
Can this be done? It's for  :ffvstr:. I'm using USAgent's hero files, but can I link them to a mesh that is used in a mod, or do I absolutely have to have the mesh in my "C:\Program Files\Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs The 3rd Reich\Custom\Art\library\characters" file? Thanks.

You should be able to do that using Alex's Hero Tool. Just set the mesh path to the mod folder location, though you might have use an absolute path vs a relative one.

Thanks for the reply Goggles, after I posted this, my 'puter crashed big time. I just got it back, but only have the bare minimum installed. Hopefully soon, I'll get around to re-installing all the meshes, skins, and mods.

Thanks Benton, I'm still trying to recover everything from the old hard drive. Hopefully all goes well.
