Title: Nif editing.
Post by: pr1983 on May 19, 2010, 04:30:31 PM
I've most likely asked this before, so apologies first of all.

Secondly, i remember working with NIF's a while back, that you could set what dds/tga files were linked to them so as to edit fx and the like. I remember doing this. I just don't rememeber HOW.

Where are the listings for the linked files in the nif viewer? or am i even using the right program?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll want to get Nifskope for editing nif files.

Additionally, the niftools plug-ins for blender if you want to get more in depth and create new nif's or maipulate existing stuff within a 3D program and don't have 3D Studio Max.

Both are available here: http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifTools
