I can't seem to find generic_hero_ponytail anywhere. Which is a shame, since it is required by several different skins.
Google searches turn up nothing. And it's not mentioned on FR World's Master Mesh List or other lists I've checked.
I have a male_ponytail made by Mienk that was made from the male generic according to the text file.
Which meshes require it?
I couldn't find it either earlier. I think I needed it for a Doc Samson skin
daglob has a really good doc samson at one of his groups!
Random, if you want I can email the mesh I have and you can see if it works for you.
If you need it for Doc Samson, I would suggest Johnny Patches skope with a C6 skin that was available on Renegade's site. I'm not sure if JP has it on his Yahoo site. I'd be more than happy to end it to whoever wants it. It has the ponytail, of course.

Ah, thanks Tawodi Osdi! It turns out that, for some reason, generic_hero_ponytail was renamed as male_ponytail.
generic_hero_ponytail = male_ponytail
I was able to get skins that require the generic_hero_ponytail mesh (such as Lord Ehmsidy's Thunderstrike_skin.zip) to work by renaming the skin files as follows:
generic_hero4.tga (or similar) ---------> male_ponytail.tga
generic_hero_ponytail.tga (or similar) --> ponytail.tga
Anyway, now that I see it in Character Tool, I'm not very impressed with this mesh. The hair is just painted on a low-poly bald head and the ponytail is very low poly with only 4 sides.
I think I'll try to look up daglob's Doc Sampson instead. Thanks for the suggestions.
