Hey all!
So most of the old-timers here will probably recognize me, but man are there a lot of new faces on these boards now... creating some AMAZINGLY talented work. I'm mucho impressed!
Anyways, onto my point here: I spent the better part of my life between 2002-2005 collecting hundreds of meshes and skins..
Unfortunately, a sad day struck when my family's computer crashed beyond repair and I lost everything. I didn't even bother reinstalling Freedom Force for a while...
Now, thanks to Steam having the FF Freedom Pack (and my shiny new laptop I just got recently :P) I can play again! However, I am WAY behind on the times of what's going on... I need help getting some of the 'best' skins and meshes for some characters, if you guys don't mind. :) (when I say 'best,' I mean employing the latest meshing/skinning tricks; I realize there's definitely room for opinion haha)
Anyhoo, some of the characters I'm trying to figure out:
-Iron Man
-Kyle Rayner
-Superman
-Batman
-Flash (Wally and Barry)
-Steel
-Plastic Man
-Spider-Man
That's it for now I suppose... any opinions out there? :)

Well for Kyle Rayner I really suggest checking out Mystik and Murs's pack. It's got most of his costumes and a nicely put together skope:

Courtnall also has skins of Kyle but I don't think they're up anywhere.
For the Flashs' I'd suggest checking out UE's skins, he's even got Wally's new costume:

Also you should check out Courts Flashs':

In general you'll probably want to check out the skins and skopes available at:
http://heroforce.freedomforceforever.com/
http://ffcenter.net/champions/
http://newpowerinc.com/
And probably other places that I can't recall at the moment.
And to add to Pod's excellent post. Check out tommyboys site at freedomforceforever for the best iron man in my opinion. Revenant had done an amazing skin for it
Afghan Ant ha really stepped it up too for superman characters
D'aww, I knew I'd get good answers. You guys are the friggin' best. ^_^
Pod, that's EXACTLY the info I needed. New Power Inc, I knew, but Freedom Force Forever and Champions of Freedom are new to me! And thanks for the Iron Man tip, DM. I'm headed to look at that now! Man, it's pretty, well, y'know, sah-weet to be seein' the community still thriving. :D Makes me more excited about the skin I'm working on, heh.
Thanks again guys!

edit: DANG. Freedom Force Forever is one SERIOUSLY slick-lookin' site! With some great content! Like holy crap.
edit2: Holy crap. So many skins to download!
edit3: omg. the keyframe section at New Power Inc.
edit4: I'm so happy right now.
Also check Bobby69/Vertex's "Vertexual Reality" website. Sorry, I don't have a link handy.

I got it:

Beyonder did a Steel mesh. Not sure where it's hosted, now. I have a skin by DMenacer (might be the one it came with). I'd be happy to send it to you. I don't follow DC that much, so I don't know if the character has changed his look.
I hope you get that Iron Man mesh by Tommyboy and Skin by Rev. Of the thousands of meshes and skins over the years, that combo is definitely one of the best ever.

At Alex's Freedom Force maybe?
I think Felideo was the last person to mesh and/or skin Steel (and it was the cartoon version): http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/nightgroup5/files/
Beyonder's version is here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BYD_hero_meshes/
The Master mesh list still works for the majority of these meshes. This is also a nice resource: http://ffportal.negative-10.com/index.php
