Title: FFX special attacks in my heroes
Post by: UAF on April 22, 2010, 10:01:45 PM
Hi there,
This is all  :ff: BTW:

I made a few costum characters that worked fine, including special attack types (magnetize, heal, etc).

The problem is that I need to move those characters into the game's dat files because they are alternateforms and such.
I did that using EZHero's nice "send to DAT".

BUT:
Now when I use the FFX control center to view those characters, I can't choose what attack type is effected by my changes.
So while I can set that Hypnosis causes Possesion, I can't connect it to a specific attack.
On the other hand it not longer effect all attacks as it does for Costum characters...

What do I do?!

You either need to renamed (or move) the custom hero files or give the built in version an alternate moniker. Having both with similar names is causing problems with FFXedit.

I deleted the .hero file from the Heros directory, and nothing changed... :(

If anyone wonders - heros names, or perhaps only their attacks, shouldn't start with capital letters
