So Laughing Paradox just busted out a nice-arse Voodoo skin from WildCATS. Problem is, I have no idea how to make a good hero file for her. Ive tried before, but her powers are all over the place. She has psychic powers, and then theyre forgotten. And then she has actual Voodoo powers, and then theyre forgotten. And then she has Daemonite powers, and Coda training....I dont know where to begin.
Anybody have any ideas on how to handle her?
I set her up as person with normal, human statistics. (3 strength, etc.) I bumped her agility one above normal, though, thanks to her Coda training.. but she wasn't a dedicated disciple of it.
I gave her Danger Sense and Enhanced Senses and Disciplined and Resilient (due to her alien origins making her a little tougher). Maybe Acrobatic (amateur) could work for her, too.
Then for attacks, I gave her a few melee attacks, since she did have Coda training, but nothing too powerful. I gave her a low-damage, fast kick attack that stunned.
She also has some direct metal blank attack and maybe some rage or panic. I don't remember her ever really possessing anything other than a Daemonite, but she did seem to have a power to control others, so maybe a high costing hypnosis attack could be added.
I didn't even know about her having real voodoo powers, so that wasn't put in my hero file. Hope that helps!
Yeah, I had a problem with justifying her Coda fighting abilities, but I guess she had SOME chops. She managed to hold her own against a bunch of Daemonite bulls in the return to Khera story, and had her draw blood from Zealot.
What would make the character shine, though, is if someone did a mesh where some of the melee attacks had her hands turn into Daemonite claws, like with the Warblade mesh's hands turning into blades and stuff. Probably not gonna happen. Thats a tall order for just one character. Ah, well.
That does jog my mind though. Ill probably be able to make a better Voodoo now. Thanks! And for the nice skin, too.
