Jey makes a compelling argument for both - retention of crispiness is certainly a desirable quality, but then again Pancake and Sausage on a stick is ON A STICK!

I agree...Kraken-On-A-Stick is so much better than anything else. I mean, come on...deep fried, pancake battering, tentacles, sticks...it has everything! Hell, sign me up to sponser this bad boy!!!
Yeah, y'all laugh, but around here, if we catch it, we deep fry that sucker: oysters, shrimp, scallops, crabs, catfish, crawfish, kraken, Cthulhu, corn on the cob, green tomatoes, squash, eggplant, zuchinni, potatoes...
