Sometime awhile back Vertex and I were discussing possible animation ideas for creating more specific Spider-Man moves.. but we never got around to finishing all of the things we had planned.
I finally dusted off the old set I had and started going thru Vertex's keyframes looking for the right parts and stumbled across a WIP keyframe set that had most of the Spider-Man animations included. Big thanks for Vertex for releasing the few he completed after all.
However, I am missing Hovering keyframes (which included a few hovering_ranged ones) and some Melee combat animations (web swinging attacks) but I figured maybe inquiring about these animations might stir up some folks pointing me in the right direction to convert some from exisiting non-VX keyframe sets. Or maybe someone already had converted some of these animations already. I know that most of the Spider-Man keyframes included a "web"/rope part that appeared in some animations but would that mess up conversion into a VX keyframe set?

I'd be willing to take a shot at it.
1. I need to know which animation sequences from which keyframe set you would like converted. I think the only spider-man I have is JiK's.
2. Realize that most of the fingers will not be animated for those sequences.
3. For the webbing to show up, it will need to be added to the mesh that will use these keyframes. (Is there a VX Spider-man?)

Jik's Spider-Man is perfect and probably the only set needed.. let's see: fly, hover, hover_pain, hover_ranged, jump_run, jump_stand, land_from_flight, land_from_jump, melee_kick2, ranged_2, ranged_3, and take_flight.

That's completely fine.. I'm just happy to have the animations available to use.

Don't worry about keeping any webbing.. Vertex planned on adding webbing to a specific vx mesh but his existing web swinging animations don't use any and will work with any of his meshes. I have been using vx_male_nomouth for my take on Spider-Man.
Okay, two versions. See which one you like better.
One with animated thumb and index finger:

One with no animated fingers:

I also made a set with the thumb and middle finger animated. It created a rather rude version of Spider-man, so I dumped it.
Let me know if there are any problems.
