Robert Culp was best known for his starring role on the 60s hit show "I Spy." Along with Bill Cosby, he broke the race barrier with this breakthrough series -- the first ever to have a black actor in a leading role. He also starred in the late 60s send up of wife-swapping, "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice."
What he brought to the role of Kelly Robinson played a big part of my life and that of my lifelong best friend.
Rest in peace, Bob.
This is sad, he was a very entertaining actor.
I remember him from I Spy, but my favorite of his roles was "Special Agent Bill Maxwell" in Greatest American Hero.
